Land Use Permits-(Follow the 3 steps below)

STEP 1: Call the Town of Stiles Plan Commission secretary, Vicky Cummingham at (920) 834-5716 to place your request on the next meetings agenda (Meetings are held the third Monday of each month at 7:00 PM at the Stiles Town Hall)

STEP 2: Call the Town of Stiles Clerk, Marilyn Magnin at (920) 846-3159 to place your request on the next Town Board meeting a agenda. (Town meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM unless otherwise noted)

STEP 3: Call the Oconto County Land Use Office at (920) 834-6827 to petition for a rezone or a conditional use permit

Building Permits- (also see Dwelling Codes)

Building permits are required in the Town of Stiles for all new buildings or building alterations. The fee for the Wisconsin Administrative Permit Form SBD-8254 for new dwellings or alterations is $50.00. Permit can be obtained by contacting Al Kopczynski , the local deputy zoning administrator at (920) 834-5499.
 

Culvert Permits-

Culvert and driveway installation permits are required in the Town of Stiles for any new access road, street or driveway or any existing entrance to property in the Town. The culvert and driveway permit is $50 if a permit is requested at a Town Board meeting. Fees could be higher if requested at any other times. Inspections have to be made before the culvert can be installed. For more information, contact Al Kopczynski , the local deputy zoning administrator at (920) 834-5499.

Burning Permits-

Burning permits are required in the Town of Stiles when the ground is not completely snow covered in the months of January, February, March, April and May. Burning permits are free and are required for all outdoor burning of leaves, brush, grass, clean wood, and personal papers. A burning permit is required for a barrel or outdoor incinerator.
